Omar
Collington, Decatur native, former professional basketball player abroad, and
former Assistant Decatur High School Basketball Coach is reaching out to the
youth in and surrounding areas of Decatur to teach them basketball techniques,
strategies, and how to balance the sport of basketball with life.
The
vision of Over & Beyond Basketball is designed to use basketball as a
platform to teach life lessons in molding young men and women as well-rounded
individuals through perseverance and overcoming adversity. The mission is to develop
every student-athlete into realizing their full potential athletically and
academically.With
that said, Omar Collington is looking for boys and girls ages 8-14 to sign up
for the basketball summer camp starting on Monday July 9th - Friday July 13th. Registration deadline is today, but parents can call and reserve their child as a walk-in. For information rgarding time, place, and price please see the flyer provided below. Kids this will be one of the highlights of your summer!!!!
